appetizers, tips and tricks, and of course recipes that have been handed down from

generation to generation. The cookbooks will be available for purchase at a later

Thinking of buying a home?

How about some FREE MONEY?

The Bank of New Madrid, in conjunction

with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des

Moines is offering you

free money

for

down payment, closing and rehabilitation

costs.

Through the Home Loan Bank's innovative Home

Ownership Program, the Bank of New Madrid had the

opportunity to reserve funds to be used exclusively for

rural

homebuyers whose annual income is at or below 80

percent of the area median income.

How to qualify?

The Bank of New Madrid has designed a program that

best fits your community's needs.

However, the Home Loan Bank has set the following

overall guidelines:

You must be located in a rural community.

Your income must be at or below 80

percent of the area median income,

The Bank of New Madrid will have the

specific details of the areamedian income.

A financial literacy program must be completed before

the closing of the mortgage.

Your loan officer will have more information.

Did you know . . .

Traditionally these funds are used for down payment

or closing costs, however, because a furnace, fresh

coat of paint and a few other minor repairs might be

needed to make your house a home, Home Ownership

Program Funds can be used for rehabilitation.

This is a gift --

not a payback, not

a loan.
